Indoor Tanning Lotion

Best Self Tanners

The Best Self Tanner

I have been looking for the Best Self Tanner for some time now.  I love having a nice tan but do not live in year round summer and do not like tanning booths.  I tried spray on tans at salons but they were not worth the cost given how long the tan lasts.  So I tried sunless tanners and experimented with a ton of different products.  After going out on dates looking like a carrot I decided that I shouldn’t just grab a indoor tanning lotion off the shelf at the supermarket or pharmacy.

Here is what I was looking for in a Self Tanning Lotion :

  • a Natural Looking Tan – not orange
  • Easy to apply at home – no blank spots or streaks
  • Odorless – or at least not smelling like a chemical waste dump
  • Provides a tan that last longer than the weekend
  • Affordable

I don’t think I was asking for too much but so many of the products on the market today are just horrible.  But I have finally found the Best Self Tanner and it is called Idol Tan.  Idol Tan meets all my requirements but the best thing about it is that the color is natural looking.  I had people think that I went away to the beach for the weekend a day after applying Idol Tan.

So stop looking for the best self tanners and check out Idol Tan best of all they have a free trial offer so it is a no brainer.

More about the Best Self Tanners

Sunless Tanners are generally a lotion you apply that has certain chemicals and pigments that will give your skin the appearance of being tan.  The best self tanners give an even color that is not too orange – the first application should give you a darker color that is very subtle and not as though you just spent a week at the equator.

Test any self tanner before applying it to your face or any part of your body that you will have exposed.  Apply it before bed, after you have showered and dried yourself and then see how it looks in the morning.  Do not over apply and by all means follow the directions on the bottle.  You can apply it over a day or two to help deepen the tan and see if that helps get the color correct.  At home self tanners are just as good (or better) than a spa applied spray tan.  There are some excellent brands of self tanning lotions out there though I would stay away from most of the ones available at your local pharmacy.
